It is Ms. Conolly-McKin’s goal to make every student, regardless of age and ability, feel comfortable and relaxed during their music instruction.  Because she believes that every person is unique, her approach to teaching is individualized.  Learning and performing music is one of life’s most joyful and gratifying pursuits, and Sheila’s greatest reward is to share her passion for music with others.  She teaches in a home studio with two pianos, as well as state-of-the-art recording equipment.

Following are some of the comments that Ms. Conolly-McKin has received from her students:

  1. *From a very happy voice student at the end of her first lesson:  “Is that me?  I can’t believe that voice is coming from me!”

  2. *From a mother commenting on her children’s progress on the piano after two lessons: “Now they sound as if they are making real music, not just playing the notes!”

  3. *From an adult student just finishing a lesson: “I always leave my lesson feeling so up-beat and confident!”
